OUR STORY
We are a local family that enjoys camping and the beauty of Kauaʻi. We were both born and raised in Hawaiʻi and love being in the outdoors as a family. We named our business Kauaʻi Holoholo Campers, because in ʻolelo Hawaiʻi (the Hawaiian language) holoholo means to cruise or to move at a leisurely pace. So we encourage you to holoholo with us and enjoy the peaceful beauty of Kauaʻi at your own pace in one of our budget friendly campers.

This was an awesome way to do Kauai! Saved a bunch of money on hotels and got to stay in some beautiful spots. It came with every piece of equipment we would want and some things we didn't even know we needed. Both the roof top tent and ground tent are super spacious and comfortable, there are good chairs, table, stove and cookware, even beach umbrella and towels. Tom picked us up, showed us how to use all the gear, and let us loose, and was quick to answer text messages with any questions. We also appreciated him meeting us at our hotel to return it. Everything was great!

This was our first trip to Kauai and it couldn't have been better. Thomas went above and beyond and at a price even I can afford. The equipment was exactly just what we needed to have an enjoyable camping experience on Kauai. Thomas also went out of his way to accommodate our late flight arrival. Communication was as good as it gets with Thomas - highly recommended!

We could not have imagined a better experience! Everything from the roof top tent to the ground tent and everything in between was phenomenal. All of the extra amenities like flashlights, pans, stove etc were so appreciated. Definitely will recommend and do again when we visit Kauai. Amazing trip, vehicle and tent were amazing, Thomas gave me plenty of help in regards to parts of the island that were must-see. If you're looking for a way to see the beauty of Kaua'i without being couped up in a hotel, this is most definitely the way to do it.

Tom's 4x4 and camping gear made our trip to Kauai special. I've visited the island before, but never with so much freedom to explore and experience the landscape. Tom was more than accommodating. He held the reservation while waiting for approval from the insurer. He gave recommendations on state and county parks where we could camp, and he walked us through how to use all of us gear and equipment (which is amazing, by the way!). Check-in and check-out couldn't have been any more convenient.

Definitely had a great experience with using his vehicle. He was very helpful in showing how to set everything up. Used his tent as well for stays at the county parks. It was huge and easy to put up. Everything in the vehicle for use was in great condition and high end compared to others I met while I was there with similar camper van set ups. I’m coming back to the area in 2 weeks and will be renting it again. The owner was very helpful and checked up on me after a big storm to make sure I was ok. Would definitely recommend.

He gave us a thorough run down on all the gear, was easy to communicate with, and he even picked us up when we were in a bind. Everything was clean and in perfect working order. We took the vehicle on the rough road to Poli Hale, the car was great, and we absolutely loved our elevated sunrise view through the tent window. Thomas made our trip to paradise that much better!

This was an awesome experience! I highly recommend it for anyone who wants to explore the island and enjoy nature! The attention to detail and consideration for all of our needs was remarkable. Tom and Lacie put our mind at ease before we even arrived by giving us detailed suggestions on camping. We had had negative experiences in the past and this certainly changed our opinion on camping in Hawaii! We were also very thankful for the time spent with us on all the details of the functionality of everything and all the great Island suggestions as well! This is the perfect way to see and experience Kauai. We camped on the beach for 4 nights. The truck has everything you need and I mean everything, never once did we look for something and not find it in there. Would definitely recommend.
